OMG HOME

Holy shit. It seriously feels like I've been gone for ages and ages and been travelling for days.

So. Mexico was good. We saw the Olsen twins in Cabo smoking in their limo. They're very.. short? Yeah. Weather was hot, the pool was nice, alcohol was very nice as well. Except someone making off with the bottoms to my swimming suit isn't so nice. I'm not kidding, either. Suntanned, more like sunburned, read two very good books, and ate and ate. And danced. And drank. Overall, very good, until yesterday trying to get home. See, we had a stopover in Denver. Getting to Denver was okay, up to the point of being boarded onto a fucking 747 and having the flight cancelled. Chaos with 340 people on board. Basically stood in line for hours to get to the customer service desk to be handed a hotel voucher, food vouchers, and booked on another flight this morning.

And of course, this morning's flight was also delayed, as we sat on the tarmac for an hour waiting for clearance to leave for SFO. But I did get to go up and sit in the cockpit of the plane, it was pretty cool. The pilots talked with Dave and I and let us shift their little thingymabobber and explained all the buttons to us.

Very glad to be home safe, though.

Nordstrom is seriously going to hear from me. I"m really pissed with all the shit they've pulled with me and I'm not gonna take it anymore. I need to make me an appointment with HR and discuss this shit. I'm fed up and I want my last week of fucking pay, damnit.

Okay. I'm going to go and snuggle my chinchillas and sleep in my OWN BED. woot. Ciao. <3

You did your elbows out thing last night. I turned over to get a nose-ful of Boo elbow. And that bed in Mexico makes me feel two feet tall.

Yeah, but I realized that at about 4am when those irritating people from the room next door woke up to shower. Wtf?

But I like that bed in Mexico, it's a lot of fun to jump on ;(

I'm so glad you both are home safe! And I'm glad the trip was fun, aside from the lay over - but at least it was educational :P <3

Educational - yes! And now if I ever want to fly a jet plane, I'll know how many buttons I need to face to do so :P <3

Yes, the Olsen twins are short 5'1 and 5'2 I believe.

I'm glad you had a great time, that's what vacations are for, even if your bathing suit decided to stay behind. :)

I'm dying to know what's going on with your ex-job and stuff. However, I know I must wait until you recover. If you need to talk, call me. *hugs*

Oi, my ex job crap could fill the pages of a novel. The kinda short version: I filed paperwork to have my last day be Aug. 7. My boss said that she told HR I was going to work some weekends, so my paperwork was held off. I called HR to do an exit interview, they told me that since I would be back to do some weekends that my interview didn't need to come until later.

So I call my boss to find out my work schedule, and she tells me that she decided not to let me work weekends, that my last day was Aug. 7. That leaves me pissed, with little money, and no job. However, since I had filed to be paid out on my last day and it never happened, my dad says I should call HR and demand to know why I wasn't paid out, why I got jerked around, why no one informed of any of this.

This company fucking sucks. So sorry for the novel, though. <3

Definitely place a call to HR. That's just not right.

Yeah. I just really don't want to get into it. I still have to return my uniform and get my (minute) paycheck. Bleh.
